One trek.
Everything changed.
It was 2015. The mountains called, a safe career gave way, and a life built around real adventure began.
Till 2016, my visiting card read Area Manager. An MBA. A bank job. A decent career that ticked every conventional box.
“But here's what nobody tells you about safe: it's just another word for comfortable enough to ignore the call.”
And the mountains were calling. Loud. So I quit. Just like that.
What followed was a reckoning: Kanamo Peak in Spiti Valley, Stok Kangri in Ladakh, Friendship Peak in Manali, all alpine style, and then a solo Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal.
Each climb wasn't just a climb. It was a reminder that I was built for this. The Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Courses in Arunachal Pradesh sealed it.
